Dim sum catering in Singapore
Sourced through our partnering vendors and quoted per order. The thing worth deciding first is steamed or fried, because they behave completely differently once delivered.

Steamed and fried are two different orders
Dim sum is not one format. Steamed items want to stay steamed, and go stiff if they are held dry for too long. Fried items want to stay dry, and go soft if they are held in steam. A single tray of both, held for an hour, disappoints in two directions at once.
So the useful things to tell us are when it will be eaten and how long it has to stand — more than which items you want. A dim sum order that lands fifteen minutes before people eat is a very different order from one that has to sit through a two-hour reception, and the options we send back will differ accordingly.
Dim sum comes from partnering vendors rather than our promotional menus, so it is quoted per order rather than priced from a rate card. One day's notice applies as usual, subject to vendor availability, and changes are free up to 24 hours before delivery.

Ordering dim sum catering
The ordering facts are fixed. The dim sum itself is quoted.
- How it is priced
- Dim sum is quoted per order rather than from a published rate card, because it comes from a partnering vendor rather than our own promotional menus.
- Getting a price
- Send the date, the headcount, the delivery address and what you want. A specialist comes back with options and prices, usually the same working day.
- Lead time
- One day's notice, subject to vendor availability on your date.
- Same-day orders
- Not something we promise in advance, but we do try. Message us and a specialist will check what is open and come back either way.
- Steamed vs fried
- Steamed items hold best in steam and stiffen if held dry; fried items hold best dry and soften in steam. Say which you want, and how long it has to stand.
- Changing your order
- Up to 24 hours before delivery.
- What we can price today
- A mini buffet of local favourites is $18 per pax plus $30 delivery at 10–14 pax, $15 with delivery free from 15, $13 from 30 and $10 from 75. Published, and it does not move.
- Halal
- Halal options are available. Halal menus come from Muslim-owned stalls; certified options through our partnering vendors on request.
- Surcharges
- $30 for delivery at 9.59am or earlier or 7.31pm or later. $15 for postal codes 71, 63, 09, 50 and 49. $50–$100 per level where there is no lift access.
How ordering works
Book early for popular dates
Our cutoff is one day before your event. In practice, order earlier: festive periods, year-end parties and weekend slots fill up well ahead, and booking early secures both your slot and the dishes you want.
Mini buffet and bento delivery $30
Drop and go: food arrives in insulated warmer bags that are yours to keep, with serving gear, cutlery, plates, bowls, a disposable table cloth and a trash bag. Free on promotional menus above $225.
Buffet delivery and setup $90
One fee covers delivery, a full setup with a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returning to collect the equipment after your event.
Changes up to 24 hours before
Adjust your headcount, menu or timing more than 24 hours before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.
Additional charges may apply for outlying areas (Tengah, Lim Chu Kang, Tuas, Sentosa, Changi Airport and Alps Avenue), deliveries before 10am or after 7.30pm, and venues without lift access. Every charge is confirmed in your quotation before you pay. See full terms.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cater dim sum in Singapore?
Yes, through our partnering vendors. It is quoted per order rather than priced from our published rate card, because it does not come from our own promotional menus. The quote usually comes back the same working day.
Should I order steamed or fried dim sum for an event?
It depends on how long it has to stand. Steamed items hold best in steam and stiffen if held dry; fried items hold best dry and soften in steam. Holding both on one tray for an hour disappoints in two directions, so tell us the serving time and we will send options that suit it.
How much is dim sum catering?
It is quoted per order, because the price depends on which partnering vendor makes it and what is on the order. For a published comparison, a mini buffet is $15 per pax with delivery free from 15 people.
How much notice do you need?
One day, subject to vendor availability on your date. Most catering in Singapore asks for three to five working days. Same-day orders are not something we can promise in advance, but we do try to make them happen. Message us with the date, the headcount and where it is going, and a specialist will check what is open and come back to you either way.
Can the menu be halal?
Yes, at the same price. Halal menus come from Muslim-owned stalls, and halal-certified menus are available through our partnering vendors on request. Select halal in the planner and only halal menus are shown.
How far in advance should I order catering?
The latest we can take an order is one day before your event. We recommend booking earlier than that: popular dates such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Christmas and the year-end party season are taken weeks ahead, and ordering early secures your slot and the dishes you want. For large events, the earlier the better.
Is there a delivery fee?
Delivery is free on mini buffet and bento orders of $225 or more before GST. Below that it is $30, and a 10 pax order always carries the fee whatever the order comes to. On the entry-level mini buffet menus $225 is reached at 15 pax. A buffet with setup instead carries a $90 setup fee, charged once per order, which covers delivery, laying out the buffet line and collecting the equipment afterwards. Remote postal codes, deliveries at 9.59am or earlier or 7.31pm or later, and venues without lift access can add a surcharge on top; every one is published and appears in your quotation before you confirm.
What is included with the food?
Mini buffet orders are drop and go: the food arrives in insulated warmer bags that are yours to keep, with serving gear, cutlery, plates, bowls, a disposable table cloth and a trash bag, so you can bag everything up and bin it after your event. Bento meals come individually boxed with cutlery. Buffet with setup includes a skirted table and cloth, warmers, serving gear, disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, and our team returns to collect the equipment.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, with more than 24 hours' notice before your event, subject to availability. Within 24 hours the food and manpower are already committed, so changes and cancellations are normally not accepted and a fee of 50% to 100% of the order may apply.
